2.1 Rental Fees

Rental fees are subject to change based on the size of the storage unit and the duration of the rental period. Payments are due monthly in advance, and any late payments may incur additional fees.

2.2 Security Deposit

A security deposit may be required at the time of rental. This deposit will be held to cover any potential damages or unpaid fees and will be refundable upon the termination of the storage agreement, provided there are no outstanding charges.

3. Use of Storage Units

Storage units are intended solely for the storage of personal belongings. Prohibited items include:

  • Hazardous materials such as flammable liquids, explosives, and toxic substances.
  • Perishable goods, including food items that can degrade over time.
  • Illegal items or items of questionable legality.

3.1 Item Restrictions

Users are responsible for ensuring that all items stored comply with our policies. Storage Barnet reserves the right to inspect units and remove prohibited items without prior notice.

4. Access to Storage Units

Access to your storage unit is available during the facility’s operating hours. Please ensure that you have your access keys or codes readily available to avoid any inconvenience.

  • Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM; Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM; closed on Sundays and public holidays.
  • Access Restrictions: Storage Barnet is not liable for items left unattended during non-operating hours.

4.1 Security Measures

Our facility is equipped with security cameras, secure fencing, and individual unit alarms. However, Storage Barnet does not provide insurance for stored items. We recommend that you obtain adequate insurance coverage for your belongings.

5. Liability

Storage Barnet is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of items stored within the facility. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept this limitation of liability.

  • Insurance: It is the customer’s responsibility to secure appropriate insurance for stored items.
  • Access Control: Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their own keys or access codes.

5.1 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Storage Barnet from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from your use of the storage services.

6. Termination of Agreement

The storage agreement may be terminated by either party in accordance with the terms specified in the contract. Upon termination, all items must be removed from the storage unit by the agreed-upon date.

  • Early Termination: May be subject to additional fees or penalties as outlined in the agreement.
  • Non-Payment: Failure to pay rental fees may result in the suspension of access and potential legal action.

6.1 Abandoned Property

If a storage unit is vacated without notice or payment, Storage Barnet reserves the right to consider the property abandoned and dispose of it accordingly, in compliance with applicable laws.

7. Amendments to Terms

Storage Barnet may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

7.1 Notification of Changes

Updates to the Terms and Conditions will be posted on our website. It is the responsibility of the customer to review these terms periodically.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Storage Barnet operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Storage Barnet regarding the use of our services. Any amendments or modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
